3차원 홀로토모그래피 현미경 HT-X1 활용 워크샵 개최 안내

홀로토모그래피 (Holotomography)는 살아있는 세포의 3차원 형태를 실시간으로 획득할 수 있는 최첨단 이미징 기술로, 형광 기반 이미징 기술의 광독성과 광표백으로 인한 한계를 극복함과 동시에 기존 기술로 측정하지 못했던 다양한 생명현상을 연구할 수 있는 강력한 연구 기법입니다. 포스텍 융합대학원에서는 2023년 8월 ㈜토모큐브 사의 최신 홀로토모그래피 이미징 장비인 HT-X1을 국내 최초로 도입하였으며, 보다 많은 연구자들이 HT-X1을 활발히 사용할 수 있도록 홀로토모그래피의 원리와 어플리케이션을 폭넓게 소개하고 장비 사용 방법과 데이터 분석법을 교육하는 시간을 갖고자 합니다. 홀로토모그래피 분야 최고 전문가와 함께 하는 이번 워크샵에 포스텍 구성원 여러분들의 많은 참여를 부탁드립니다.

1. 일시 및 장소: 11/8 (수) – 11/9 (목), C5 723호 (장비 실습), 1층 컨퍼런스홀(등록, 세미나)

2. 교육 내용

• 홀로토모그래피의 원리 및 어플리케이션 소개
• HT-X1 장비 사용 교육 및 실습: 측정 희망하는 시료 미리 준비
• 데이터 검토, 시각화, 영상 분석

3. HT-X1 주요 기능

• 살아있는 세포의 3차원 소기관 형태를 염색 없이 장시간 타임랩스 관찰
• 두께 100 microns 이내의 조직, 오가노이드 등 각종 3차원 시료의 무염색 실시간 이미징
• 조직 절편 등 대면적 시료의 3차원 타일 이미징
• 3차원 형광 이미징 (Ex 385/475/565/625, 최대 3채널 동시 사용)
• 시료의 3차원 굴절률 분포를 측정하여 단백질 또는 지질 함량 분석

Announcement of the Workshop on Holotomography imaging using HT-X1

(11/8 ~ 11/9)

Holotomography is an advanced imaging technique that can capture the 3D subcellular of living cells in real-time. It overcomes the limitations caused by phototoxicity and photobleaching found in fluorescence-based imaging techniques and offers a powerful research tool to investigate various biological phenomena that could not be observed with traditional technologies. In August 2023, POSTECH School of Convergence Science and Technology introduced the latest holotomography imaging system, HT-X1, the first of its kind in Korea. We aim to introduce the principles and applications of holotomography and provide training on the usage of the HT-X1 instrument and image analysis. We cordially invite POSTECH members to join this workshop in collaboration with the top experts in the holotomography.

1. Date & Venue: 11/8 (Wed) – 11/9 (Thu), C5 Bldg #723(Hands on Training), 1F Conference Hall(Registration, Seminars)

2. Contents:

• Introduction to the principles and applications of holotomography
• Training and hands-on session on using the HT-X1 equipment (please prepare samples in advance)
• Review, visualization, and analysis of images/data

3. Main Features of HT-X1:

• Prolonged timelapse observation of the 3D organelle shapes in living cells without staining
• Real-time unstained imaging of various 3D samples, including tissues and organoids, within a thickness of 100 microns
• 3D tile imaging for large-area samples such as tissue sections
• 3D fluorescence imaging (Ex 385/475/565/625, up to 3 channels used simultaneously)
• Measurement of the 3D refractive index distribution of the sample to analyze protein or lipid content
